Humor Bomb

It’s not that I prefer to think of things in such a destructive way. With such violent language. Yet ‘Humor Bomb’ seems the most apt description of what I prescribe to so many people in so many circumstances. “Learn to laugh,” I implore, “or you will wither and waste away in the toxic juices of your hyper-serious self importance.”
When parents and teens engage in the perpetual battle signified by the proverbial generation gap, a Humor Bomb could be just the remedy to point out the ultimate inane and preposterous positions on both sides of the spat.
When an anti-Goddist is ranting and raving because there is no tolerance of those whose opinions differ, a Humor Bomb may be just the thing to lighten up and see that what one rebels against may be what one abhors within ones’ own psyche.
When political persuasions bicker, and seemingly never see eye to eye, a Humor Bomb may be just the reminder that there is a commonality amongst all people. Even if it is simply to laugh.
When spouses and significant others rue what they no longer have, a Humor Bomb may become a reminder that they can take their minds off of the perceived loss long enough to see that there are new and emerging indications that the relationship has potential.
When, in the midst of a neck and neck contest with no apparent easy way to win, a Humor Bomb may be just the weapon to tip the scales in your favor. Distraction, at times, is your friend.
When Bubba is about to consummate his relationship with the new prisoner sharing his cell, a Humor Bomb may be just the social lubricant that will ease the angst of the emerging union.
When blogsters become frustrated with their blog-town becoming bogged down, a Humor Bomb may become the important reminder that perhaps a touch of thanks for the opportunity to write in a blogging sort of way is in order.
And, when much of what I see and hear in this funny thing we call life is rife with potential for satire and irony, a Humor Bomb is just what I need to express my ‘little old self.
Let Humor Release The Imp Within, and BEWARE OF THE HUMOR BOMB.
